The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, or FMCSA, is the U.S. governing body responsible for regulating commercial traffic on our highways. It was established in January, 2000 and its primary task is the prevention of commercial traffic accidents and fatalities. All long haul carriers and auto transporters must be registered with the FMCSA and obtain the necessary bonding and insurance coverage in order to operate on our roadways.
All of United Auto Transports’ trucks are federally licensed and bonded with the FMCSA and carry full insurance coverage for their cargo loads, assuring the protection and safety of your auto transport. Working with non-regulated trucks are a risk you should not take with car shipping, be assured that United Auto Transport fully meets all safety and regulatory requirements of the U.S. Government.
